This coffee is born from the encounter between two very different places, united by the same passion for care and craft.
In Espírito Santo do Pinhal (Brazil), in the heart of the Baixa Mogiana region, the coffee grows between 1,000 and 1,300 meters of altitude, in fertile lands with constant rainfall. Here, farming families select the cherries by hand at their optimal point of ripeness, a slow gesture that enhances the natural sweetness of the bean. The result is a structured, creamy, and balanced coffee with notes of cane sugar, caramel, and ripe fruit, designed to bring body and calm to the cup.
Thousands of kilometers away, in the high mountains of Yirgacheffe, in southern Ethiopia, the coffee grows almost spontaneously between 1,800 and 2,200 meters, in small family gardens. Here, coffee is not just a crop: it is part of the social and cultural life. Washed in local stations and worked with traditional varieties, it brings a completely different expression: floral, citrusy, and vibrant, with notes of jasmine, citrus, and a luminous acidity that adds depth and freshness to the blend.
United, these two origins build a balanced and expressive coffee: the smoothness and sweetness of Brazil are balanced with the complexity and energy of Ethiopia.
A dialogue between landscape, altitude, and expert hands; to be enjoyed with attention.
To describe this coffee, we use the tasting wheel, a common tool in Specialty coffee.
Its function is simple: to describe in words what is perceived in the cup.
Based on an adaptation of the SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) flavor wheel, this guide helps identify aromas and notes in a clear and accessible way.
From broad sensations like sweet, fruity, or floral, to more specific nuances, the wheel serves as a map to navigate and better understand the character of the coffee.
It is not only about searching for exact flavors, but about learning to recognize sensations and enjoying coffee with greater attention.
This coffee is born from careful and conscious work, and its journey does not end in the cup.
It is a coffee that respects its origin, values the work of those who cultivate it, and seeks a fairer and more responsible impact at every stage of the process.
That is why we present it in a 100% compostable capsule, designed to return to the earth without leaving an unnecessary trace: it is made with bio-based materials derived from cellulose and vegetable oils, and the product is certified TÜV OK COMPOST HOME and TÜV OK COMPOST.
Additionally, it meets recognized compostability standards, including EN 13432, NF T51-800, and AS 5810.
Choosing compostable materials is a natural extension of Specialty coffee.
Because every ritual deserves a conscious ending.
